Orbit Culture is a dynamic Swedish melodic death metal band formed in 2013 in Eksjö. The band, led by vocalist and rhythm guitarist Niklas Karlsson, quickly gained traction with their debut EP, “Odyssey,” released in August 2013. This initial offering showcased their unique sound and garnered local interest, paving the way for their first live performances. Following the success of “Odyssey,” they released their first full-length album, “In Medias Res,” in July 2014, which included the popular single “Obscurity,” further establishing their presence in the metal scene.

In 2016, Orbit Culture faced lineup changes but continued to thrive, releasing their second album, “Rasen,” which featured the hit single “Sun of All.” This album marked a significant evolution in their sound and helped them gain recognition in the underground metal community. The addition of new members, including lead guitarist Richard Hansson and bassist Fredrik Lennartsson, revitalized the band and contributed to their growing success.

The band continued to build on their momentum with the release of the EP “Redfog” in 2018, which included the successful singles “See Through Me” and “Redfog.” Their third studio album, “Nija,” released in August 2020, received critical acclaim and showcased their ability to blend heavy riffs with melodic elements, solidifying their reputation as a leading force in modern metal.

Most recently, Orbit Culture released their fourth studio album, “Descent,” in August 2023, followed by the EP “The Forgotten” in December 2023. With a commitment to delivering powerful live performances and a growing fanbase, Orbit Culture is poised for continued success in the metal genre, recently signing with Century Media Records and embarking on extensive tours.
