Orion Sun, known professionally as Tiffany Majette, released her critically acclaimed debut LP, Hold Space for Me, through Mom + Pop Music in 2020, solidifying her unique voice in alternative R&B and indie rock. The album earned praise from Pitchfork critic Dani Blum, who described it as ‘stark [and] lightly poetic.’ Prior to this significant milestone, Orion Sun launched her public musical career in 2013 with the release of ‘Voicemail’ on YouTube, followed by her 2017 mixtape, A Collection of Fleeting Moments and Daydreams. She continued to build momentum with the 2018 singles ‘S T R E T C H’ and ‘Nirvanaaa,’ laying the groundwork for her distinctive sound. In 2020, Orion Sun penned the impactful song ‘Mama’s Baby,’ a response to her experience during a racial justice protest.

The year 2024 has marked a prolific and impactful period for Orion Sun, beginning with the release of the dynamic singles ‘Already Gone’ and ‘Mary Jane.’ She then unveiled her highly anticipated self-titled LP, Orion, on September 20, 2024, which garnered strong anticipation from fans and critics alike. To support the album and connect directly with her growing global fanbase, Orion Sun immediately commenced ‘The Rising Sun Tour’ in 2024, engaging audiences across key markets and solidifying her position as a compelling live performer.
