About

Our Last Night was formed in Hollis, New Hampshire, in early 2004 by brothers Trevor and Matthew Wentworth, Matthew and Tim Valich, and Alex “Woody” Woodrow. The band released their debut EP, “We’ve Been Holding Back,” in 2004, followed by their first album, “Building Cities from Scratch,” in 2005. After early lineup adjustments, the core group solidified in 2006 with Trevor Wentworth on vocals, Matt Wentworth on guitar and vocals, Colin Perry on guitar, Alex “Woody” Woodrow on bass, and Tim Molloy on drums. In 2007, they signed with Epitaph Records, and in August of that year, they released their second album, “The Ghosts Among Us,” which peaked at No. 6 on Billboard’s Top Heatseekers (Northeast) in March 2008.

The band continued to expand their discography with “We Will All Evolve” in 2010, produced by Andrew Wade. They toured extensively throughout the United States and Japan, sharing stages with notable bands such as From First to Last, We Came as Romans, and Asking Alexandria. A significant turning point occurred in June 2011 when Trevor Wentworth, typically known for his unclean vocals, delivered clean vocals on an acoustic version of “Across the Ocean,” a style he has largely maintained since, with few exceptions. After departing from Epitaph Records, Our Last Night ventured into independent releases and began creating cover versions of popular songs, gaining substantial online attention and expanding their audience.

Recent years have seen Our Last Night release several EPs and albums, including “Oak Island” (2013), “Younger Dreams” (2015), “Selective Hearing” (2017), and “Empires Fall” (2022). A notable project, “Disney Goes Heavy,” released in 2022, featured 23 heavy cover versions of songs from popular Disney films, showcasing their unique genre blending. In May 2025, the band released their album “Left Alone.” They announced an upcoming tour, “The Final Tour,” which will be their last after 21 years due to members prioritizing family time, though they plan to continue releasing new music.
