Peaches & Herb

Peaches & Herb have performed for six decades, achieving global recognition for their R&B, soul, and pop music, highlighted by their iconic hit ‘Reunited’. After the vocal duo Peaches & Herb was founded in 1966 with Herb Fame, they quickly achieved global recognition for their R&B, soul, and pop music. Signed to Columbia subsidiary Date Records after Fame met producer Van McCoy, their initial single’s B-side, ‘Let’s Fall in Love,’ became a hit in December 1966, reaching No. 30 on the US Billboard 200 in 1967.

In 2001, Fame and Greene successfully pursued a lawsuit against MVP Records for unpaid royalties, reaffirming their artists’ rights. Miriamm, the fifth ‘Peaches,’ joined in 2002 and toured extensively with Herb, performing alongside artists such as Aretha Franklin and Gloria Gaynor. Miriamm was also introduced to a broader audience on the PBS televised ‘Rhythm, Love & Soul’ Fundraising drive in 2002. Later, Wanda Makle performed as ‘Peaches’ with Fame, and in 2009, Meritxell Negre became the first non-black ‘Peaches,’ recording the album ‘Colors of Love’ with Fame.

In 2014, Herb Fame and Linda Greene reunited for a couple of special performances. Today, Fame continues to tour with Wanda Tolson as the current ‘Peaches,’ maintaining the enduring legacy of the duo’s classic soul, R&B, and pop sound for audiences worldwide.
