Pierce The Veil has carved a niche in the rock scene with their progressive post-hardcore sound and engaging live performances. After their critically acclaimed third album, Collide with the Sky, debuted impressively at No. 12 on the US Billboard 200 in 2012, Pierce The Veil cemented their place in the rock scene. The band was formed in 2006 by brothers Vic and Mike Fuentes, who initially wrote and recorded their debut album, A Flair for the Dramatic, released on June 26, 2007, with support from Equal Vision Records.
Shortly thereafter, Tony Perry joined as lead guitarist and Jaime Preciado took on bass duties, solidifying the bands core lineup. Their early years featured extensive touring, including appearances on the entire Vans Warped Tour in 2008. In 2010, Pierce The Veil released their second album, Selfish Machines, which topped the Billboard Heatseekers Chart, further establishing their distinct sound. A significant turning point occurred in 2011 when Pierce The Veil signed with Fearless Records, leading to the highly anticipated release of Collide with the Sky in 2012.
In 2024, they supported Blink-182 on their ‘One More Time…’ tour, performing to massive arena crowds. The band also announced their own ‘I Can’t Hear You World Tour’ for 2024, promising to bring their dynamic live show to fans internationally. Expanding their discography, Pierce The Veil is set to release the new single ‘Kiss Me Now’ in 2025, further demonstrating their commitment to creating and performing original music.
