Prince Daddy & The Hyena is an American punk rock band that formed in Albany, New York, known for their detailed songwriting and consistent touring schedule across the United States and Europe. After releasing their debut extended play ‘Skip Cutscenes! Blow Loud!’ in 2014 through Wallflower Records, Prince Daddy & The Hyena quickly established themselves as a formidable force in the punk rock scene. The band followed this initial success with the critically acclaimed EP ‘Adult Summers’ in 2015 via Broken World Media, which saw a re-release in 2017 by Counter Intuitive Records.
This album, exploring themes of mortality influenced by their collective experiences, was supported by several singles, including ‘A Random Exercise In Impermanence (The Collector),’ ‘El Dorado,’ and ‘Shoelaces.’ Following the album’s release, the band embarked on a successful headlining tour across the United States. Continuing their active presence in the punk and emo music scenes, Prince Daddy & The Hyena co-headlined a major tour in 2023 with Drug Church, featuring support from Anxious and Webbed Wing. Looking ahead, the band has confirmed upcoming dates in the Netherlands and the United Kingdom in 2024, continuing to expand their international reach and dedicated following.
