Kate Voegele is an acclaimed singer-songwriter and actress, known for her musical contributions and recurring role in the television series ‘One Tree Hill’. After making her official musical debut with the extended play ‘The Other Side’ in 2003, Kate Voegele went on to establish herself as an acclaimed singer-songwriter and actress. Her debut EP garnered local radio airplay for the song ‘Top of the World’ and led to performances alongside artists such as John Mayer and Counting Crows. Voegele also performed at significant events like Farm Aid in 2004, sharing the stage with Willie Nelson and Neil Young.

This period also marked her acting debut in January 2008, as Mia Catalano in the CW television series ‘One Tree Hill,’ a recurring role she maintained for four seasons until 2011. Her role provided a significant platform for her music, with many of her songs being featured on the show. Notably, her single ‘Only Fooling Myself’ peaked at number 37 on the Hot Adult Top 40 Tracks chart, and her cover of Leonard Cohen’s ‘Hallelujah’ charted at number 68 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking the first time any version of the song appeared on that chart. Following the success of her debut, Voegele released her second studio album, ‘A Fine Mess,’ on May 18, 2009.

In 2017, she released the powerful single ‘Shoot This Arrow,’ addressing themes of sexual harassment. Demonstrating her ongoing musical versatility and adaptability, Voegele has engaged in notable collaborations, including the song ‘When the Night Moves’ with Tyler Hilton in 2019 and ‘The Best Part (French Version)’ with Bien in 2023.
