This rapid ascent culminated in ‘Act II: Date @ 8’ debuting at number 7 on the Hot R&B Songs chart and its solo version peaking at number 59 on the Billboard Hot 100 in early 2024. His burgeoning career received public endorsements in January 2024 from prominent artists such as Kanye West and Drake, signaling a new force in the R&B landscape.

This widespread recognition led to competitive interest from major labels, culminating in a landmark deal. In March 2024, a highly anticipated remix of ‘Act II: Date @ 8’ featuring Drake was released via OVO Sound, propelling the single into the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100.
