Consisting of Chris Thile (mandolin and vocals), Gabe Witcher (fiddle and vocals), Noam Pikelny (banjo), Chris Eldridge (guitar), and Paul Kowert (bass), the quintet has established a reputation for pushing boundaries and redefining the limits of traditional music.

The band’s roots can be traced back to Thile’s former band, Nickel Creek. After the band disbanded, Thile formed the Punch Brothers with Witcher, Pikelny, and two new members, Eldridge and Kowert.
