Charles Oliveira visits Manchester United's Carrington training ground

UFC BMF champion Charles Oliveira stopped by Manchester United’s training facility over the weekend for a meet-and-greet with the squad.

UFC star and BMF champion Charles Oliveira paid a visit to Manchester United’s Carrington training ground on Saturday. The Brazilian fighter met with the first-team squad, posed for photos with players and staff, and took in the facilities during a brief visit arranged through MN2S. It’s the kind of crossover moment that plays well across both football and combat sports audiences: Oliveira commands a huge global following, and the visit has already picked up traction on social media and across major outlets.

Oliveira was pictured alongside fellow Brazilians Matheus Cunha and Bruno Fernandes during the visit, and was gifted a signed shirt with ‘Cunha 10’ on the back. He also shared footage and photos from his tour of the training ground on his Instagram story, including a snap next to the Champions League trophy. The visit came just days after his dominant performance at UFC 326 in Las Vegas, where he beat Max Holloway by unanimous decision to claim the BMF title.

Oliveira is one of the biggest names in mixed martial arts. A veteran of the UFC with the most finishes and most submission victories in the promotion’s history, he became lightweight champion in 2021 and has since established himself as one of the most exciting fighters on the roster. He currently holds the BMF title — a symbolic belt that recognises the most fearless competitor in the sport. With a massive international fanbase and a reputation that extends well beyond the octagon, Oliveira is an increasingly sought-after name for brand partnerships and high-profile appearances.
