Rich Brian

Rich Brian has transitioned from an internet personality to a globally recognized rapper, songwriter, and record producer, known for his unique musical style and chart-topping albums. After his debut single ‘Dat $tick’ became a global phenomenon in 2016, Rich Brian went on to release critically acclaimed albums and tour internationally. His music career launched in 2015 with ‘Living the Dream,’ but it was ‘Dat $tick,’ released on March 11, 2016, that catapulted him to international attention, leading to his signing with 88rising after a viral reaction video by prominent rappers. The single was later certified gold by the RIAA and peaked at number four on the Bubbling Under R&B/Hip-Hop Singles chart.

Brian’s career continued to evolve with the release of his EP ‘1999’ in 2020. In a significant collaboration in 2021, his track ‘Run It’ was featured on the soundtrack for Marvel’s blockbuster film, ‘Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings,’ further extending his reach by becoming ESPN’s anthem for their 2021-2022 college football coverage. In 2021, he was also cast in his film debut by director Justin Chon, an independent feature. He maintained his musical momentum in 2022 with the release of the EP ‘Brightside’.

Most recently in 2023, Rich Brian released the single ‘World Stop Tuning’ featuring Warren Hue. He also made his official film debut that year in Justin Chon’s feature ‘Jamojaya,’ showcasing his versatility beyond music. Looking ahead, Brian has announced his third studio album, ‘Where Is My Head?,’ slated for release in 2025, signaling continued artistic growth and new projects on the horizon.
