Roam

Roam was a British pop-punk band that formed in Eastbourne, England in September 2012. The band produced original music and independently released two EPs early in their career. The first, “No Common Ground,” was released in 2012, followed by “Head Down” in 2013. These initial releases established their presence in the pop-punk scene and led to them signing with Hopeless Records in 2014. Following this major label signing, they released the “Viewpoint” EP in 2015, which further expanded their audience.

The band’s debut album, “Backbone,” was released on January 22, 2016, through Hopeless Records. This was followed by a tour supporting Sum 41 during the Kerrang! Tour 2016. In February 2016, drummer Charlie Pearson departed from the band, and Miles Gill stepped in as a touring drummer before officially joining full-time in August 2016. Roam then participated in the full 2016 Warped Tour, gaining further exposure to a wider audience. Their second album, “Great Heights & Nosedives,” was released on October 13, 2017.

Roam released their third album, “Smile Wide,” on September 6, 2019, promoting it with singles like “I Don’t Think I Live There Anymore” and “Piranha.” They toured Europe and the United Kingdom in September and October 2019, co-headlining with the band With Confidence. After a decade of activity, the band announced their separation on June 21, 2022, and performed several farewell shows, concluding their career as a group.
