Shordie Shordie

RaQuan Hudson, professionally known as Shordie Shordie, was born on August 6, 1996. Raised in Baltimore, he initially had limited interest in rap until forming the trio Peso Da Mafia in 2015. The group included his brother Lor Dee and cousin PDM Purp. In 2017, Peso Da Mafia achieved regional success with their single “Money Man,” which was recognized for its accompanying dance. The group released their first mixtape, “Never a Drought,” in 2018.

Simultaneously, Shordie Shordie began developing solo material. In 2018, he released several singles, including “Lonely” and “Holidays.” His track “Betchua (Bitchuary)” gained significant traction, accumulating tens of millions of streams. This success led to the release of his debut solo mixtape, “Captain Hook,” later the same year. His second mixtape, “>Music,” released in 2020, also achieved chart recognition. In 2021, he collaborated with producer Murda Beatz on the mixtape “Memory Lane.” This was followed by “More Than Music, Pt. 2” in 2022, which featured artists such as Mozzy, Offset, and Rich Homie Quan.

Shordie Shordie continued his output with the 2023 full-length album “A Life for Two,” featuring tracks like “How High” and “Thug Life.” He then released “Memory Lane 2” in collaboration with Murda Beatz in October 2023. His 2024 releases include the EP “Welcome to Sin City,” the “Memory Lane 2 Tour: Setlist,” and the full-length album “Breath of Fresh Air.” His career demonstrates a consistent trajectory of musical releases and collaborations.
