Stooshe, the British girl group composed of Alexandra Buggs, Karis Anderson, and Courtney Rumbold, first captivated audiences with their debut single ‘Love Me’ in 2012. Featuring American rapper Travie McCoy, the track swiftly ascended to number five on the UK Singles Chart. This breakthrough success was quickly followed by their critically acclaimed single ‘Black Heart,’ which peaked at number three on the UK Singles Chart the same year. Formed in May 2010 in London, the group signed with Warner Music in August 2011, developing their unique urban and soulful sound with acclaimed production duo Future Cut, and also released a distinctive cover of TLC’s ‘Waterfalls.’ Stooshe’s talent earned them a nomination for the BBC’s Sound of 2012 poll.

Maintaining artistic output as an independent entity, Stooshe continued to release new music in 2016. These included the single ‘Lock Down’ on January 15, 2016, followed by ‘Let It Go’ on July 1, 2016, showcasing their evolving sound and unwavering commitment to their R&B-infused style. As a group known for their distinctive voice and empowering female identity, Stooshe continues to resonate with audiences, highlighted by their chart-topping singles and impactful live performances.
