The Tedeschi Trucks Band, an American musical group based in Jacksonville, Florida, was formed in 2010 by the married couple Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks. The band emerged after Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks had toured together as Derek Trucks & Susan Tedeschi’s Soul Stew Revival in 2007, subsequently merging their individual groups. Their inaugural concert took place on April 1, 2010, at the Savannah Music Festival.
The band’s debut album, “Revelator,” released on June 7, 2011, achieved commercial success, peaking at No. 92 on the Canadian Albums Chart, No. 164 in the UK Albums Chart, and securing the 2012 Grammy Award for Best Blues Album. This was followed by “Everybody’s Talkin’,” a live album released in May 2012. In 2013, the band received nominations for the Blues Music Awards and released their third album, “Made Up Mind.” Their 2016 album, “Let Me Get By,” produced by Derek Trucks, debuted at number 15 on the Billboard 200 album sales chart. In 2017, they released “Live from the Fox Oakland,” a full-length concert film and album. The fourth studio album, “Signs,” was released on February 15, 2019, on Fantasy/Concord Records, and was recognized as a ‘Favorite Blues Album’ by AllMusic. In 2022, the band released “I Am the Moon,” a quadruple album with 24 original songs, distributed in four parts. Their sixth studio album, “Future Soul,” was released on March 20, 2026.
