Uncured is an electrifying Progressive/Technical Death Metal band from New Jersey, USA, known for their explosive and uncompromising sound. Formed by brothers Rex Cox (vocals and guitar) and Zak Cox (lead guitar), alongside drummer “King Z” Zachary King and bassist Betto Andrade, the band has quickly made a name for itself in the metal scene. Their music is a blend of intricate riffs and powerful vocals, showcasing their impressive technical prowess and dynamic energy.
In June 2023, Uncured released their latest EP, My Design, which has significantly enhanced their reputation. The single “Let’s Break Out” debuted at #38 on the Billboard Top 40 Mainstream Rock Chart and reached #13 on the SMR Active Rock Chart. Their subsequent single, “Fight This War,” climbed to #5 on the Metal Radio Chart and #15 on the SMR Active Rock Chart, further establishing their presence in the metal world.

Uncured’s discography includes their acclaimed full-length albums Medusa (2017) and Epidemic (2019). Medusa was named one of the “10 Best Metal Albums of 2017” by AXS.com, and Epidemic received praise for its groovy riffs and technical brilliance.
