Philippines Unique Salonga is a Filipino singer-songwriter and musician known for his contributions to the Pinoy rock and psychedelic rock genres, establishing a prominent solo career after his initial role as lead vocalist for IV of Spades.
Unique Salonga participated in a photoshoot where he wore Gucci apparel. While initial reports suggested a collaboration, it was clarified that Gucci lent clothes for the shoot. He has also been seen wearing diamond-shaped frames by Gucci.
H&M announced Unique Salonga as a featured artist in their Music x Me Campaign, a platform designed to promote local Filipino artists and showcase their passion for music and style.

Unique Torralba Salonga was born on April 26, 2000, in Manila, Philippines. His musical journey officially began in June 2014 when he joined IV of Spades as the lead singer. The band, formed by Allan Silonga, released their first song, “Ilaw sa Daan,” followed by “Hey Barbara” in July 2017 and “Where Have You Been My Disco?” in December 2017. In 2018, IV of Spades released “Mundo,” which became their most viewed video on YouTube, contributing to the band’s over 100 million views. During his time with IV of Spades, the band won “New Artist of the Year” and “MYX Bandarito Performance” at the Myx Music Awards, and “Favorite New Group” at the 30th Awit Awards. They also performed with musician David Foster. On May 4, 2018, Salonga departed from IV of Spades to pursue a solo career.
Following his departure from IV of Spades, Unique Salonga quickly established himself as a solo artist. In 2018, he released his debut solo single, “Midnight Sky,” under O/C Records, part of VIVA. This was followed by his first solo album, “Grandma,” in the same year, and he held his first solo concert on September 29, 2018. His second album, “PANGALAN:,” was released in 2020, further solidifying his presence in the Philippine music scene. Salonga continued to release new music, including his third album, “Daisy,” on September 29, 2023. His solo work has garnered critical recognition, with “Grandma” winning “Best Cover Art” at the 32nd Awit Awards in 2019, and his song “Sino” winning “Wishclusive Rock/Alternative Song of the Year” at the 6th Wish Music Awards in 2021. He also earned an “Album of the Year” award for “Daisy” at the 37th Awit Awards in 2024.
A significant turning point in his career occurred on July 16, 2025, when Unique Salonga officially rejoined IV of Spades, releasing a new song titled “Aura” with the band. This reunion marked a new chapter, bringing his distinctive vocal and songwriting style back to the group while continuing to explore his experimental musical interests. Throughout his career, Salonga has demonstrated versatility across Pinoy rock, psychedelic rock, and experimental genres, performing lead vocals, guitar, keyboards, and synthesizers. His consistent output and critical recognition have made him a notable figure in Filipino music, appealing to a wide audience both as a solo artist and as a band member.
