Unique Torralba Salonga, better known simply as Unique, is a Filipino musical prodigy whose journey through the music industry has been as vibrant as his name suggests. Born on April 26, 2000, Unique’s ascent to fame began when he joined forces with Allan Silonga’s vision to form what would become the iconic IV of Spades. As the band’s original frontman, Unique captivated audiences with his soulful voice and raw talent.

IV of Spades quickly became a sensation, enchanting listeners with hit after hit. Their singles, including “Ilaw sa Daan,” “Hey Barbara,” “Where Have You Been My Disco?,” and the beloved “Mundo,” earned them widespread acclaim and cemented their status as one of the Philippines’ most beloved bands.

With accolades such as New Artist of the Year and Favorite New Group at prestigious award ceremonies like the Myx Music Awards and the Awit Awards, IV of Spades soared to new heights. However, Unique’s creative spirit yearned for more, leading him to embark on a solo career in 2018.

Under the banner of O/C Records of VIVA, Unique unleashed his solo prowess with the debut single “Midnight Sky” and the album “Grandma,” captivating audiences once again with his evocative lyrics and mesmerizing melodies. His solo journey continued to flourish with the release of his second album, “PANGALAN,” in 2020, and his third album, “Daisy,” in 2023.
