Wolf Alice

Wolf Alice is a London-based rock band that has achieved critical acclaim and commercial success, including winning the Mercury Prize and a Brit Award. After quickly establishing themselves as a formidable force in the UK music scene, Wolf Alice, founded by singer Ellie Rowsell and guitarist Joff Oddie, solidified their lineup by 2012 with the addition of bassist Theo Ellis and drummer Joel Amey. The band garnered early attention through self-released singles like ‘Fluffy’ and ‘Bros’ in 2013, which quickly gained airplay on BBC Radio 1. Their debut EP, ‘Blush,’ was released in October 2013, followed by the ‘Creature Songs’ EP in May 2014.

Their sophomore effort, ‘Visions of a Life,’ released in September 2017, mirrored its predecessor’s chart success by debuting at No. 2 on the UK Albums Chart and earned widespread critical acclaim. This culminated in the band winning the coveted Mercury Prize in 2018 for ‘Visions of a Life.’ During this highly successful period, Wolf Alice also supported iconic acts such as Foo Fighters and Queens of the Stone Age on major tours. In 2021, Wolf Alice delivered their third studio album, ‘Blue Weekend,’ which achieved universal acclaim and marked a significant career milestone by becoming their first UK No.

That same year, Wolf Alice expanded their touring reach by supporting global superstar Harry Styles on his ‘Love On Tour.’ Looking ahead, Wolf Alice entered a new phase of their career in 2024 by signing with Columbia Records. Their highly anticipated fourth album, ‘The Clearing,’ is scheduled for release in August 2025, preceded by the unveiling of its lead single, ‘Bloom Baby Bloom,’ earlier in 2025. With a proven track record of chart-topping albums, prestigious awards, and extensive touring, Wolf Alice continues to be a dominant and innovative force in contemporary rock music.
