Worth Dying For originated from the Ammunition Movement in Modesto, California. The band released their self-titled debut album in April 2008 through Integrity Music. This album, which had an original independent release title “Ammunition,” featured producers Joth Hunt and Henry Seely from the Australian worship conference movement Planetshakers. The 2008 album, recorded in Modesto, California, and Mobile, Alabama, reached significant chart positions, including #166 on Billboard Magazine’s Billboard 200 chart and #11 on their Christian Albums chart.
Following their debut, Worth Dying For continued to evolve their sound and ministry. In 2011, they released their second album, “Love Riot.” The band, under the leadership of lead pastor Jeremy Johnson, made a move in early 2012 to plant a church in Southern California. This period marked a transition for the group, leading to their rebranding as Fearless BND. As Fearless BND, they continued to release music, including the 2012 album “Live Riot,” the 2017 album “We Are Fearless,” and the 2020 album “Fear Not,” collaborating with labels like Ammunition Records, Fearless International, and BEC Recordings.
Christy and Jeremy Johnson, central figures in the band, have guided the group through these changes, maintaining their focus on worship music. Their discography as Worth Dying For and later as Fearless BND showcases a consistent contribution to contemporary Christian music, with various albums and EPs released over more than a decade. The band’s work has been reviewed by outlets such as Jesus Freak Hideout and Cross Rhythms, reflecting their presence in the Christian music scene.
