Zild Benitez

Daniel Zildjian Garon Benitez, better known as Zild, is a multifaceted Filipino artist renowned for his musical prowess and dynamic stage presence. Born into a musical lineage as the son of Frank Benitez, former drummer of iconic bands Hungry Young Poets and Barbie’s Cradle, Zild inherited a passion for music that would shape his career.

Zild’s journey into the spotlight began during his formative years, where he seamlessly balanced his burgeoning music career with a successful stint as a commercial model for prestigious brands like Lucky Me! Pancit Canton, Coca-Cola, and Nido. His charm and charisma soon extended to television, earning him a cameo role in the hit ABS-CBN series “Got to Believe.”

In 2018, Zild solidified his dedication to music by earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Production from De La Salle-College of St. Benilde. Armed with a comprehensive understanding of the craft, he embarked on a professional trajectory that would see him soar to new heights.

Zild’s musical journey reached new milestones when he joined the acclaimed band IV of Spades, where his talents as a lead vocalist, pianist/keyboardist, synth player, and bassist flourished. Simultaneously, he embarked on a solo career that showcased his versatility and innovation as a musician and producer.

In August 2022, Zild’s ascent to prominence reached new heights as he inked a deal with UMG Philippines under the Island Records Philippines label, signaling his arrival as a formidable force in the music industry. With his innate talent, unwavering dedication, and boundless creativity, Zild Benitez continues to captivate audiences and carve his legacy as one of the Philippines’ most promising musical talents.
