Ziva Magnolya Muskitta was born on March 14, 2001, in Jakarta, Indonesia. She is the second child of Stevanus Muskitta and Cindy Asie Busel. Magnolya developed an interest in singing from a young age. Her early career included participation in talent programs such as Popstar and I Can See Your Voice prior to gaining wider recognition in 2019.
In 2019, Ziva Magnolya participated in the tenth season of Indonesian Idol. Her performances led her to the final stages of the competition, where she ultimately placed third on February 17, 2020. During her time on Indonesian Idol, she performed a varied repertoire, including songs by artists such as Beyoncé, Bruno Mars, Christina Perri, and Justin Bieber. This exposure helped establish her presence in the Indonesian music industry.
Following her appearance on Indonesian Idol, Magnolya signed with Universal Music Indonesia. She released several singles, including “Tak Sanggup Melupa (Terlanjur Mencinta)” in 2020, “Mata-Mata Harimu” in the same year, and “Terlukis Indah” in collaboration with Rizky Febian in 2021. In 2022, her single “Peri Cintaku” achieved immediate success. In November 2022, she collaborated with Stacey Ryan on a remix of the single “Fall in Love Alone,” further extending her reach. She has also received music awards, including an Indonesian Music Award (AMI).
