Adam McArthur is an American voice actor and martial artist who has voiced many characters in both television and video game productions. He is best known for voicing bad boy Marco Diaz in Disney XD’s critically acclaimed animated series Star vs. the Forces of Evil which recently aired its fourth season.
California-born McArthur developed a love for classic cartoons in his youth and knew that he wanted to be a voice actor from a young age. Starting with acting classes at age 16, he soon was cast in a Macy’s commercial and has gone on to build an enviable career for himself.
McArthur’s name has been tied to several award-nominated shows, including Star vs. the Forces of Evil which has earned three Annie Award nominations. His voice can also be heard in Cartoon Network’s Emmy Award-winning Star Wars: The Clone Wars where he played Prince Lee-Char, and Netflix’s The Adventures of Puss in Boots where he played Chad.
Other television roles include Erik in The Lebrons, an animated series from LeBron James, Hilarious Harry in Too Loud, Rudy in Ollie & Scoops and Oliver in S.A.L.E.M. McArthur has also lent his voice to several video games, including Far Cry 5, and several instalments in the Final Fantasy franchise, playing the character Joker.
When he isn’t bringing animated characters to life, McArthur teaches Kung Fu and Judo, which he has three black belts in. McArthur is also an entrepreneur, owning a successful LA-based event photography firm called The Booth and Bus Company.
