Alyssa Sutherland

Alyssa Sutherland has transitioned from a successful international modeling career, working with prominent fashion brands, to establishing herself as an actress in film and television. After winning the 1997 annual Bonne Belle model search for the Australian teen magazine, Girlfriend, Alyssa Sutherland signed a contract with Vogue Australia, marking the start of a distinguished international modeling career. Her work led her to New York, where she quickly established herself through campaigns for globally recognized brands including Calvin Klein, Coco Chanel, Ralph Lauren, and Bulgari. Sutherland appeared in numerous runway shows, print editorials, and television advertisements, collaborating with acclaimed photographers such as Herb Ritts, Steven Meisel, and Bruce Weber.

Most recently, Sutherland has made a significant impact in the horror genre, starring as Ellie in the critically acclaimed 2023 horror film Evil Dead Rise, the fifth installment of the iconic Evil Dead franchise, which earned over $147 million worldwide at the box office against a $15–19 million budget. Also in 2023, she appeared in the drama film The Mental State. Sutherland continues to pursue compelling roles and remains an active and versatile talent in the entertainment industry.
