Anthony Lilley is a widely renowned media and arts producer, strategist and consultant. He is popularly recognised as CEO of Magic Lantern Productions, an award-winning creative company based in London. Lilley’s media credits include Top Gear, Dr Who and FourDocs, amongst other popular productions. Lilley is a director of Zespa Media and holds several other senior positions with various organisations.
Lilley is a respected academic in the creative field and holds a chair in Creative Industries at Ulster University, is chair of the Creative Industries Cluster Programme created by the Arts and Humanities Research Council, has a chair in Creative Industries at Ulster University and is a member of the Circle of Cultural Fellows at Kings College. He is also a visiting professor at multiple universities, including Oxford, and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. A talented and much sought after writer, Lilley is a former new media columnist at the Guardian.
In 2008, Lilley was publically recognised and made OBE for his services to media and the creative industries. Lilley has been decorated with several awards throughout his glittering career, being awarded with a BAFTA, RTS and Peabody Awards. Lilley has worked with several leading brands in the media industry, including Sony Playstation, BBC, Google and London 2012 and continues to work with prestigious clients across the world. Recently, he has been collaborating with John Berry CBE, working on Scenario Two Ltd, their commercial theatre venture.
