Antoine Griezmann is a widely renowned French professional footballer who is best known for playing as a forward for the Spanish club Barcelona, as well as the French international team. Griezmann caught the eye of many at a young age, owing to his skill and obvious potential, and was signed to Atletico Madrid for 30 million euros. Such a fee was record of its time and Griezmann quickly progressed and became a focal point of the team. He broke the club’s scoring record for a first season and was named La Liga Best Player in 2016.
With Atletico Madrid, Griezmann helped the team to win the 2017-18 Europa League when he scored twice during the final. Griezmann now ranks as the club’s fifth highest goal-scorer.
