Barry Conrad

Barry Conrad is an accomplished actor, singer-songwriter, and performer whose multifaceted career spans screen, stage, and music. After performing ‘Celebration’ and ‘Up Where We Belong’ on ‘Australian Idol’ in 2004, Barry Conrad quickly established a multifaceted career spanning screen, stage, and music. His early television work included an originating role in the iconic Australian show ‘Neighbours’, alongside an appearance in FOX’s ‘Power Rangers: Ninja Storm’ in 2003. On the big screen, Conrad was featured in the critically acclaimed and commercially successful film ‘The Sapphires’ in 2012, and later earned a Spotlight Short Film Award in the United States for his role in ‘4D’ in 2016.

Beyond his acting pursuits, Conrad is a recognized singer-songwriter, having collaborated with Grammy Award-winning producer Rodney Jerkins, Grammy Award-winning group OneRepublic, multi-Grammy Award-winning mastering engineer Tom Coyne, and American Music Award-winning duo K-Ci & JoJo. His music career has included extensive international touring, performing at major venues such as The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis, Missouri, United Center in Chicago, Illinois, Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, The Sambadrome in Rio de Janeiro, and the Festival of Life in Zimbabwe. More recently, Conrad appeared in the AACTA-nominated series ‘Erotic Stories’ in 2023 and the series ‘Return to Paradise’ in 2024, in addition to roles in ‘Home and Away’.

Expanding his presence across digital platforms, Conrad creates and hosts ‘Banter with BC’, a podcast featuring acclaimed guests like Keiynan Lonsdale and David Berry. In 2025, he is slated to co-host ‘The Intermittent Fasting Podcast’ alongside Melanie Avalon. His commitment to community and health initiatives is further showcased through his roles as a brand ambassador for R U OK?, Kawai, Panasonic, 180 Nutrition, and I Quit Sugar.
