As one of the most successful figures in the UK’s next generation of entrepreneurs, Ben Towers started his own web design company Tower Design aged just 11 years old. By 16, his business had 15 employees had over 500 influential clients including Virgin and Quickbooks. In 2017 Tower went on to successfully merge the company in a “multi-million-pound” deal with Zest The Agency, making it the largest marketing agency in Kent.
Throughout his unique journey as a young entrepreneur Tower has experienced many challenges uncommon amongst other business owners. Studying for both his GCSE’s and A-Levels Tower became the first person on record to employ himself as an apprentice to allow him more time to focus on his studies. He also became the first under 18 to get a business account after the bank froze his children’s account following too many transactions.
Since the success of his first business Ben has topped The Times’ global Super Teen Power List. He now acts as a consultant for leading brands including Champneys and the government. He is also a mentor for new entrepreneurs, alongside acting as an advisor on the CBBC series Pocket Money Pitch and speaking at events across the country. Among his many talents, Towers is currently working on his latest project that focuses on a worldwide health movement. His vision is to inspire young people to live happier, healthier lives which he hopes to achieve via the launch of his new cutting-edge app.
