About

Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Blake Michael started his career in entertainment at a young age, booking print jobs at three and enrolling in acting classes at five. His early career saw him feature in commercials for brands like Bojangles’ Chicken and working as a model for Macy’s. By age ten, he was selected to host a series of collaborative commercials for Hasbro Toys and Cartoon Network, leading to a three-year stint as a host for Cartoon Network’s ‘Fried Dynamite’ and ‘Dynamite Action Squad’ shows. This initial exposure highlighted his early talent and versatility in front of the camera.

Michael’s acting career progressed significantly when he was cast in Disney’s 2011 TV musical “Lemonade Mouth” as Charlie, a role he acknowledged as pivotal for audience recognition. Following this, he secured a leading role as Tyler James in the Disney Channel series “Dog with a Blog” from 2012 to 2015, a show that garnered four Emmy nominations and earned him the Young Artist Award for Best Leading Young Actor in a Television Series in 2013. During this period, he also expanded his creative roles, writing and directing short films such as “Anonymous” (2011) and “Notes of Hers” (2013), with the latter winning an Audience Choice Award at the Red Rock Film Festival.

In recent years, Michael has shifted his focus, stepping away from acting primarily to pursue entrepreneurial ventures and journalism. His last acting role was in a 2019 episode of “What Just Happened??! with Fred Savage.” Since 2021, he has served as the Chief Evangelist of Lumanu, a social media management company that aids online creators in managing their brands and businesses. He also contributes as a marketing expert and business analyst for Forbes, drawing on his experience as one of the youngest individuals to secure a YouTube partnership. Michael married Ariel Mullen in Italy in October 2024.
