Bradley Brooks is an English professional darts player known for his impressive performances in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. He gained prominence after winning the 2020 PDC World Youth Championship, showcasing his talent and potential at a young age. This victory marked the beginning of a promising career in professional darts, as he secured his place among the rising stars in the sport.
In 2021, Brooks retained his Tour card and participated in the UK Open, entering as a seeded player in the second round. Unfortunately, he was defeated by Martin Atkins. Despite facing challenges in qualifying for other major tournaments that year, Brooks made a significant impact as the reigning Youth World Champion, earning a spot at the Grand Slam of Darts. He navigated a tough Group B, achieving a notable victory over Mervyn King and advancing to the knockout stage, where he faced world number one Gerwyn Price. Although he put up a strong fight, Brooks was eliminated with a narrow 10-8 loss.
Returning to the PDC World Darts Championship, Brooks qualified for the second consecutive year through the PDC UK Development Tour, finishing first in the overall rankings. In a thrilling first-round match against Scotland’s William Borland, Brooks was narrowly defeated after Borland hit a nine-dart finish in a deciding leg.
After two years on the Tour, Brooks finished 70th in the PDC Order of Merit, which typically would mean losing his Tour card. However, thanks to his top spot in the UK Development Tour Order of Merit, he renewed his Tour card for an additional two seasons, solidifying his place in professional darts and setting the stage for future successes.
