About

Brian Cano, born in New York City on February 22, 1974, developed an early interest in exploring abandoned structures in Staten Island. This initial curiosity evolved into a career in paranormal investigation. He gained significant recognition as the Tech Specialist for SyFy’s “Haunted Collector” from 2011 to 2013, where he contributed to the team’s investigations by managing technical equipment and analyzing evidence. His role involved setting up and utilizing specialized tools for paranormal inquiries, focusing on objective data collection. He co-directed and produced the TV series “Scared!” from 2002 to 2009 for 15 episodes, and also served as producer, director, and editor for “Haunted Snug Harbor” in 2011.

Cano has since expanded his media presence, appearing as a featured analyst on Travel Channel’s “Paranormal Caught on Camera” from 2019 to 2023 and “Doomsday Caught on Camera” in 2020. He also made guest appearances on History Channel’s “The Curse Of Oak Island” in 2019 and “The UnXplained” in 2020. In 2018, he introduced his interactive “History of the Paranormal Exhibit,” which became mobile in 2020, traveling to historical locations across various states. His work in the field extended to authorship, with his first book, “Grains of Sand:Tales of a Paranormal Life,” published in February 2022 by Roswell Press.

Throughout his career, Brian Cano has maintained a focus on factual investigation and the measurement of paranormal phenomena, transitioning from an initial stance as a skeptic to an analyst primarily concerned with verifiable evidence. His contributions to television and his mobile exhibit have allowed him to share his extensive experience with a wider audience.
