Chef Ben Robinson was born in the United Kingdom and developed an early interest in culinary arts. He completed a diploma in Culinary Arts at The Culinary Institute of America. Following his formal training, he gained experience in various high-end kitchens, including the Fat Duck, a three-Michelin-star restaurant in Bray, Berkshire, UK. His career soon transitioned into private yachting, where he honed his skills in diverse culinary environments, catering to a range of discerning clients.
His career significantly progressed with his appearances on the Bravo reality television series “Below Deck” and “Below Deck Mediterranean.” He made his debut on “Below Deck” in its first season, which premiered in July 2013. He continued as the resident chef for “Below Deck” Seasons 1, 2, and 4. During “Below Deck” Season 3, he was called in to serve as chef for the final three episodes. He then extended his involvement in the franchise by joining “Below Deck Mediterranean” for Season 1 and later returned for Season 4. These roles showcased his ability to manage intense pressure while consistently delivering high-quality cuisine in challenging conditions.
Currently, Chef Robinson resides in Florida, where he operates a private catering company and continues to create cooking content, including tutorials filmed from his home kitchen.
