Chloe Hollings is a widely renowned French-Australian voice and screen actress, mezzo-soprano opera singer and writer. She is most famous for voicing the part of Widowmaker in the popular video game ‘Overwatch’ in French and English. She is very popular with a huge following online, with 31.5k followers on Twitter.
Hollings was born in Paris, her father was French and she moved with her family to Melbourne when she was a child. Initially she was undecided whether to study psychology or acting. Hollings started to voice act as a child from the age of 8 or 9. She speaks both French and English and worked recording educational materials for people learning English. She has been professionally trained in acting and said that an acting teacher who was a big influence was Jordan Beswick, she has assisted him while he was directing. She has also trained with Jean-Laurent Cochet, Luis Jaime-Cortex and Scott Williams.
Apart from ‘Overwatch’ in 2016 she has worked on ‘Valerian’, the ‘City of a Thousand Planets’ in 2017, and ‘Overwatch: Alive’ in 2016.
She has worked in the theatre and voice acted in documentaries adverts and plays. Hollings has written a book called ‘Fuck les Regimes!’ Published in French in 2016, it is a body positive memoir. She now lives in Paris and continues to build upon her career experience.
