About

Bradley Sherwood was born on November 24, 1964, in Chicago, Illinois, and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He began acting at the age of eight. Sherwood pursued formal education in acting, graduating from Wright State University with a BFA. Shortly after, he relocated to Hollywood to begin his professional career. His initial television roles included guest appearances on “L.A. Law” from 1991 to 1992, where he played Ned Barron for five episodes, and a role on the sketch-comedy series “The Newz” in 1994. He also made multiple guest appearances on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” and was a commentator for VH1.

In 1992, Sherwood joined the British improvisational comedy show “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” as a recurring performer, eventually becoming a regular cast member during its later seasons. He transitioned from the British version to the American adaptation of “Whose Line Is It Anyway?”, which first aired on ABC and was hosted by Drew Carey. His involvement with the show continued when it was revived by The CW in 2013, where he has made occasional appearances. Beyond improvisational comedy, Sherwood took on hosting duties for “The Dating Game” from 1996 to 1997 and “The Big Moment” in 1999. He also served as a guest host on “Talk Soup” and has been a regular panelist on game shows such as “To Tell the Truth,” “Jury Duty,” and “Hollywood Squares.” In 2010 and 2011, he was a guest announcer for “The Price Is Right” before George Gray became the permanent announcer.

A significant turning point in his career came in 2003 when he partnered with fellow “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” performer Colin Mochrie to create a two-man improv show, “An Evening With Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood.” This collaboration evolved into a touring show known as “Colin Mochrie & Brad Sherwood: Asking for Trouble,” performing live across the United States and Canada. Together, they also produced “Colin & Brad: Out of the Box” in 2019. Additionally, Sherwood produced “Drew Carey’s Green Screen Show” from 2004 to 2005. His voice-acting credits include Gallantmon in “Digimon Data Squad” in 2008 and roles in “Lloyd in Space” in 2002. Sherwood married Shauna Sherwood in February 2007.
