Cody Gene Schmitz and Khristian Wyatt Stark, known collectively as Cody & Wyatt, launched their joint YouTube channel in 2017. Cody Schmitz, originally from Concordia, Kansas, later moved to New York City. Khristian Wyatt Stark, who studied sports management at MidAmerica Nazarene University in Olathe, Kansas, partnered with Schmitz to build their online presence. A significant milestone in their career was their 2018 video, “Katy Perry Reacts to Twice,” which garnered 6.4 million views.
