Reality TV star Cory Wharton has become a regular fixture on MTV ever since his memorable appearance in the 2014 edition of Real World entitled Real World: Ex-Plosion. In this series (which marked its twenty-ninth season, such is its popularity in the US!) Wharton starred amid six other strangers sharing a house as the cameras documented their every move as well as the trajectory of their relationships and dramas. His presence on the show marked a turning point in his life, as he then went on to become a finalist in popular, big budget MTV projects such as The Challenge: Battle of the Bloodlines in 2015, The Challenge: Invasion of the Champions in 2016 and most recently The Challenge: Total Madness in 2020.
Each season of The Challenge features a variety of extreme challenges in which contestants compete against one another in order to win the hotly contested prize pool. In 2020 this amount was a staggering $1 million prize! Wharton prides himself on his athletic capabilities and physique, and has also competed in several other series of The Challenge, namely The Challenge: Rivals III (2016), The Challenge: XXX: Dirty 30 (2017), The Challenge: Champs vs Stars (2017), The Challenge: Vendettas (2017) and The Challenge: Final Reckoning (2018). He also featured on the well-known guilty pleasure British reality TV series (also broadcast on MTV) Ex on the Beach in 2018.
Having now amassed a huge following of millions across all of his social media platforms, Wharton is a highly regarded figure for his dedication to fitness, on-screen presence and adventurous attitude to life. He’s adamant to continue competing in further reality TV shows where he can put his physical skills to the test and build upon his profile.
