David Leadbetter

David Leadbetter is a globally recognized golf instructor and author, celebrated for developing transformative golf methodologies and coaching numerous major championship winners. After successfully rebuilding the swing of Nick Faldo, which led to six major championship victories in the 1980s, David Leadbetter gained widespread recognition for his transformative golf methodologies. Transitioning from his early career on the European and Southern African golf tours, Leadbetter quickly established himself as a preeminent instructor. Following this rapid rise in recognition, he founded his first Leadbetter Golf Academy, a concept that would grow into an international network over the next three decades, headquartered at the ChampionsGate Golf Club in Davenport, Florida.

An accomplished author, Leadbetter has penned eight books on golf instruction, which have collectively sold over two million copies worldwide, establishing him as one of the best-selling golf instruction authors globally. He has also pioneered the development of various golf training media, products, and services, including the acclaimed SwingSetter and A Swing approved training aids. His expertise has been featured in video games, appearing in David Leadbetter’s Greens in 1992 and My Personal Golf Trainer for Wii in 2010. In 2015, he released his highly anticipated book, The A Swing.
