Dazza

Dazza, also known by his handle YerBoyDazza, is a Scottish digital creator and social media star. He is perhaps best known for his YouTube channel, which features prank videos and attempts to deep-fry all kinds of takeaway food, including McDonald’s, Five Guys, Domino’s, and even “meal-deal” packet sandwiches. He is a popular presence across social media, with over 50,000 subscribers across the likes of YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Twitch, and more. He even has his own range of merchandise, which is the true mark of internet celebrity status.

After finding success deep-frying food on Facebook, Dazza launched his YouTube channel in 2018 with an occasional series entitled, Does It Fry? The channel now has over 16,000 subscribers and its content has been viewed nearly one million times. A lot of the humour is uniquely Scottish, at best British, and so Dazza has also found success with pranks such as getting American influencers to record bizarre Cameo videos congratulating fictional people for, say, “getting a job with Avon”, a reference that gets lost across the Atlantic.
