Derwin Gray is a distinguished former professional football player and the founding lead pastor of Transformation Church in South Carolina. After an impressive collegiate career at Brigham Young University, Gray was selected in the fourth round of the 1993 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts. Over five seasons with the Colts and one with the Carolina Panthers, he made significant contributions on the field, recording 46 tackles and demonstrating his skills as a reliable defensive back.
Following his NFL career, Gray transitioned into ministry, co-founding One Heart At A Time Ministries in 1999 with his wife, Vicki. His commitment to education led him to graduate magna cum laude from Southern Evangelical Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree in 2008, focusing on apologetics.
