Donnie Edwards has transitioned from a distinguished NFL career to a dedicated philanthropist and motivational speaker. After earning Third-team All-American honors in 1994 as a linebacker for UCLA, Donnie Edwards showcased exceptional talent, securing First-team All-Pac-10 recognition in the same year. During his collegiate career from 1992 to 1995, Edwards ranked third in tackles for losses with 38 and fifth in sacks with 22.5. He famously tied the school record for sacks in a single game with 4.5 against Southern Methodist University and achieved an impressive 12.5 sacks in a single season.

Beyond his work with the Best Defense Foundation, Edwards actively supports a range of other charitable organizations, including the Child Abuse Prevention Foundation and After School All-Stars.
