Trailblazing dermatologist Dr. Shereene Idriss famously embraces the unique facial features of her patients rather than morphing them into someone else. The facial rejuvenation and minimally invasive body tightening expert stands out from the crowd in a world amped up on filters, and has developed a refreshing, multi-dimensional approach to tackle the major issues associated with aging including loss of inherent elasticity, skin discoloration, volume displacement and textural changes. Idriss strives to combine her medical expertise and artistic skills with a solid doctor-patient connection to attain the best aesthetic results possible.
A leading expert in state-of-the-art cosmetic procedures, Idriss completed a research fellowship at Harvard University after graduating from The George Washington University’s Medical Honors Program. She then attended Tufts Medical Center in Boston where she finalized her dermatology training before moving to New York City. Idriss is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, the Women’s Dermatologic Society, the Dermatologic Society of Greater New York, and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and is currently a Clinical Instructor in Dermatology at Mount Sinai’s Icahn School of Medicine.
With almost half a million followers on Instagram, Idriss has become one of the internet’s most popular dermatologists. She has published several award-winning publications and research papers focussing on the evolution of dermatology in the new digital age which have formed the basis for her critically acclaimed #PillowtalkDerm series on Instagram and YouTube, and has now started her own skincare brand based on her PillowtalkDerm philosophy.
