Elias Hagen

Elias Kristoffersen Hagen was born on January 20, 2000, in Oslo, Norway. He began his football career in the youth ranks, playing for Veitvet until 2013, followed by a stint with Kjelsås in 2014, and then Lillestrøm from 2015 to 2017. His senior career began in 2018 when he joined Grorud. During his time at Grorud, Hagen quickly established himself, scoring two goals in his 2nd division debut match against Hønefoss on April 15, 2018. His contributions were instrumental in Grorud’s promotion to the Norwegian First Division in 2019, marking an early career milestone.

In the summer of 2020, Hagen transitioned to FK Bodø/Glimt, a move that further propelled his career. He made his debut for Bodø/Glimt on September 13, 2020, in a league match against Odds BK, which his team won 6–1. With Bodø/Glimt, Hagen achieved significant success, being crowned the Norwegian Champion in both 2020 and 2021. After two successful years, he moved to IFK Göteborg in Sweden on January 4, 2023, where he played for part of the season before returning to Norway with Vålerenga Fotball Elite later that year.

Since joining Vålerenga in August 2023, Hagen has continued to be a consistent presence in midfield, contributing to the team’s performance. He played a key role in Vålerenga’s victory in the Norwegian First Division in 2024. Hagen has also represented Norway internationally at the youth level, including appearances for the U18, U19, U20, and U21 national teams. His national team debut for Norway U18 was on June 12, 2018, at the age of 18 years and 4 months.
