Eric Martsolf

Born on July 27, 1971, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Eric Martsolf embarked on his entertainment career initially performing as a singer and dancer at Hersheypark during breaks from Dickinson College. He later earned a degree in Political Science from Dickinson College. Martsolf further developed his stage skills with a two-year engagement at Dollywood and a four-year contract playing the Pharaoh in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” on a national tour. His early career included singing on a Hawaiian cruise ship and modeling for various designers and companies.

Martsolf transitioned to television, notably portraying Ethan Winthrop on NBC’s “Passions” from July 2002 until the series concluded in August 2008. In 2008, he joined the cast of “Days of Our Lives” as Brady Black, a role he has continued to play for over a decade. His portrayal of Brady Black earned him a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series in 2014, making him the first actor to win in that category for “Days of Our Lives.” Beyond daytime drama, Martsolf has appeared in primetime series such as “Extant,” “NCIS,” “Rizzoli & Isles,” and “Smallville,” where he played Booster Gold. He has also featured in various stage productions, with approximately 40 musicals and plays on his resume.
