Glenn Scarpelli

Glenn Scarpelli is an actor and producer recognized for his work in television series such as “One Day at a Time” and “Jennifer Slept Here,” who later established the Sedona Now TV Network. After making his Broadway debut in 1977 in the acclaimed play ‘Golda’ starring Anne Bancroft, Glenn Scarpelli quickly established himself as a versatile talent across stage and screen. He further honed his theatrical skills with a significant appearance in the Broadway revival of ‘Richard III’ in 1979, where he took on the demanding role of Richard, Duke of York, performing alongside the legendary Al Pacino. Scarpelli gained widespread national recognition for his indelible portrayal of Alex Handris in the long-running hit television sitcom ‘One Day at a Time.’ During his tenure from 1980 to 1983, he appeared in 66 episodes, becoming a beloved fixture and a prominent face in American households.

More recently, Scarpelli returned to his acclaimed acting roots with a cameo appearance in the 2019 Netflix revival of ‘One Day at a Time,’ which resonated with both original fans and new audiences. His producing efforts continued with the 2016 short film ‘Sacred Journeys,’ where he not only held an acting role but also served as an executive producer, underscoring his comprehensive engagement behind and in front of the camera.
