His early career also saw him secure two Minto Cup championships with the Whitby Warriors in 2011 and 2013, alongside earning three First Team All-ECAC selections from 2013 to 2015 and being named ECAC Specialist of the Year in both 2014 and 2015. Hossack made an immediate impact in the NLL, scoring two goals in his professional debut on January 9, 2016, and subsequently earning a spot on the NLL All-Rookie Team for the 2016 season.
Hossack quickly solidified his reputation as an elite defender in the National Lacrosse League, earning three consecutive NLL Defensive Player of the Year awards from 2018 to 2020, a testament to his consistent high-level play. During this period, he was also recognized with First Team All-League NLL selections for the 2018, 2019, and 2020 seasons. In 2021, following the Rochester Knighthawks rebranding, Hossack signed a significant five-year contract with the Halifax Thunderbirds, cementing his role as a foundational piece of their defense. He continued his NLL excellence with another First Team All-League selection in 2023.
Further showcasing his exceptional athleticism, he set a new PLL record for the fastest shot at 123 MPH in 2025, reinforcing his standing as one of the sport’s most dominant and decorated defensive players.
