After authoring and directing the critically acclaimed documentary ‘The Anonymous People’ in 2013, Greg Williams established himself as a prominent filmmaker and public policy advocate dedicated to addiction and mental health awareness. The impactful film, exploring the lives of 23.5 million Americans in long-term recovery, garnered widespread attention and earned Williams a prestigious 2014 PRISM Award for Outstanding Documentary. This foundational work immediately positioned him at the forefront of media efforts to destigmatize addiction and educate the public on recovery.
Further solidifying his commitment to systemic reform, Williams played a pivotal role in forming a national Alliance dedicated to releasing the Addiction Recovery Medical Home Alternative Payment Model, actively shaping healthcare policy discussions related to addiction and mental health.
