Hannah Gregg, born in Sacramento, USA, established herself in collegiate golf before turning professional in 2020. Her academic pursuits included human development and family sciences with a minor in journalism, indicating an early interest in sports media. During her high school career at Placer High, she was a four-year golf team member, earning four-time first-team all-league selections and two-time Pioneer Valley League MVP honors. She holds the distinction of being the first female golfer from Placer High to receive a college scholarship and recorded the most rounds under par in a season for her high school team. Hannah helped her team secure back-to-back Pioneer Valley League titles in 2012 and 2013.
Gregg continued her golf career at Sonoma State University, where she averaged 77.69 as a sophomore, achieving five top-10 and two top-five finishes. Her career-low round of 69 was shot in March of her sophomore year, contributing to her team’s advancement to the NCAA Super Regionals. She later transferred to the University of Nevada, competing in six of 10 events during her junior year (2015-16). At Nevada, she recorded a season-low 75 twice, at The Gold Rush and the Fresno State Classic, and achieved her best finish of a tie for 28th at the Sacramento State Invitational. She played 12 of 17 rounds in the 70s, ending the year with a scoring average of 78.18 and ranking 36th at the MW Championship. Throughout her collegiate career, she demonstrated strong performance in par-3 scoring and greens in regulation.
As a professional, Hannah Gregg competes on the Ladies European Tour. She has accumulated experience in numerous tournaments, achieving a total of 18 tournaments played as of 2025. Her professional accolades include a top-20 finish on PGA Australia in 2024, two top-25 finishes on the ANNIKA-Women’s All Pro Tour in 2019 and 2022, and three top-35 finishes on the Ladies European Tour in 2024. Beyond her competitive career, Gregg is a co-founder of Short Game Gains, a company designing and selling golf practice aids, and is also a content creator and contributor to Golf Digest and Golf Digest Woman.
