Héléna Noguerra is a Belgian actress, singer, author and television presenter famous for appearing in films including Heartbreaker and Alleluia. Her music has been used in numerous television programmes and commercials – including Thierry Ardisson’s television show Lunettes Noires pour Nuits Blanches, and she previously toured with French group Nouvelle Vague. She has also provided the music for top video games including Bayonetta in 2009. Multi-talented Noguerra has also written three novels and a children’s book.
Born in Brussels, Noguerra grew up in her hometown with her brother Victor and sister Lio – who is now also a famous singer. Noguerra moved to Paris as a teenager where she began a successful modelling career , rising to fame after appearing as a dancer in an Indochina music video, ‘Your black eyes’ in 1986. Two years later she recorded her own debut track ‘Black Glasses’ under the pseudonym LNA Noguerra, followed by a duet ‘Rivière des anges’ with Daniel Chenevez, and she was also spotted by French television channel M6 and asked to host several music programs.
With her music and presenting career well on track, Noguerra added another string to her bow when she ventured into acting at the start of the 2000s. After making her successful debut in 2002’s Ah! If I was rich, she went on to appear in Peau de cochon (2004) followed by a role in the hugely successful comedy film L’arnacoeur, alongside Romain Duris and Vanessa Paradis. Noguerra has continued to excel in both comedy and darker roles, whilst also finding time to continue with her musical and writing careers. Her third novel Ciao Amore – a romance set between Paris and Italy – was published in 2017.
