Breakout star Nathalie Emmanuel is taking the world by storm. Most recognised for her portrayal of Missandei in the HBO hit series Game of Thrones, Emmanuel has been on a meteoric trajectory ever since. Born and raised in Essex, UK, Emmanuel caught the acting bug at a young age. By ten years old, she was cast as Young Nala in the West End production of The Lion King. From there she would star in a broad range of shows before making her on-screen debut as Sasha in Channel 4’s popular soap Hollyoaks. Later Emmanuel made her film debut in the thriller Twenty8k, and the rest is history. Now a sought after stage and screen actress, Emmanuel will be entertaining audiences for years to come.
A multi-award winner, Emmanuel earned international recognition and praise for her role in Game of Thrones. She not only received a CinEuphoria Award and an Empire hero Award for her time on the show but several SAGA nominations amongst others. Emmanuel’s growing portfolio of film work has also earned her high praise. From starring as Ramsey in The Fast and the Furious sequels Furious 7 and The Fate of the Furious to playing Maya in Mindy Kayling’s television reboot of Four Wedding and A Funeral, Emmanuel is unafraid to take on challenging roles. Some of her other credits include The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, Die Hart, the Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials and the subsequent sequel Mase Runner: The Death Cure.
Beyond the screen, Emmanuel is passionate about raising awareness for the Black Lives Matter movement and fashion, yoga and drinking tea! An inspiring role model, Emmanuel continually pushes herself in the pursuit of her craft. Diverse and versatile, Emmanuel’s work speaks for itself. Revisiting the Fast and the Furious, Emmanuel will go head to head with Vin Diesel and company in F9 and play Gwendoline in the upcoming Army of the Dead prequel.
