Khan’s career swiftly expanded into significant contributions to film soundtracks, beginning in 2009 with his compositional work for Amar Praner Priya. He continued to make a prominent mark in the film industry, composing for four notable films in 2012 alone: Chorabali, Most Welcome, I Love You, and Television. His prolific output continued into 2013 with scores for Ant Story and Eito Bhalobasa, followed by Ami Shudhu Cheyechi Tomay in 2014.
