Bailee Madison, born on October 15, 1999, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, started her career at two weeks old, appearing in television commercials for major companies like Office Depot, Disney, SeaWorld, and Cadillac. Her acting debut in 2006 was in the crime drama “Lonely Hearts.” She gained early recognition for her role as May Belle Aarons in the fantasy drama “Bridge to Terabithia” (2007) and further acclaim for her performance in the war drama “Brothers” (2009), earning a Critics’ Choice Movie Award nomination. Madison showcased versatility with starring roles in comedies like “Just Go with It” (2011), alongside Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston, and “Parental Guidance” (2012) with Marisa Tomei, Bette Midler, and Billy Crystal. In 2010, she received positive reviews for her lead role in the supernatural horror film “Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark,” a film that Natalie Portman, her co-star from “Brothers,” recommended her for.
